I am speaking at the annual Danish Ethnography Conference ‘In climate symbols’ on Friday 20 November at the University of Aarhus – ‘Why we disagree about climate change: four myths, four meanings’.
I shall be debating the proposition ‘Do science and economics support government action on climate change?‘ with Michael Grubb, Lord Nigel Lawson and Fred Singer at the Insitute of Economic Affairs on Monday 23 November 2009. This event at the Insitute of Directors is now sold out.
I shall be presenting the argument from my book Why We Disagree About Climate Change, and responding to audience questions at the Battle of Ideas Bookshop Barnie at 1.30pm on Saturday 31 October 2009, at the Royal College of Art, London.
